
EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 23, 2026) — Join us for an evening honoring STEM excellence in the Quad City region! The Quad City Engineering and Science Council (QCESC) will hold its event February 26, 5-8PM, at The Bend Event Center, 1910 Bend Blvd, East Moline.
Celebrate the incredible STEM achievements from our community over the past year! We'll recognize outstanding Engineers, Scientists, Teachers, Professional Technical Societies, and Volunteers with our prestigious STEM Awards. We're also thrilled to award STEM scholarships to exceptional high-school seniors from area schools, supporting the next generation of STEM professionals.

The mission of the Quad City Engineering and Science Council is to encourage and support students to study in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related fields, and promote and support STEM professionals and associated societies in the Quad City Region. We do this through hosting and supporting student STEM events, granting STEM scholarships, awarding STEM grants to student groups, networking with other STEM professionals, and offering businesses employee volunteer opportunities.
As a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization QCESC relies on the generosity of individuals and businesses to help us provide STEM scholarships and grants. Donations, large and small, help us continue and grow these programs.
