
MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 21, 2025) — The AKWAABA QC, an IRS 501(c) Tax Exempt non-profit Community Organization founded on Community Navigators Model, is pleased to announce Its Annual Community Navigators Celebration to showcase the organization’s incredible work, dedication, and active involvement toward AKWAABA QC’s mission and vision.
AKWAABA QC Community Navigators Celebration will feature the presentation of one of our community partners/Goodwill; The speech and the certificates' remission from our State Senator Mike Halpin; Note from our State Representative Gregg Johnson, the Mayor of Moline: Sangeetha Rayapati and the Mayor of Rock Island: Ashley Harris; Foods and musics.
The AKWAABA QC’s mission is to welcome immigrants, refugees, migrants, and asylum-seekers in the Quad Cities by providing them with necessary training and information that will help them integrate into the Quad City community and lead them to their full potential through the Community Navigators Model.
At AKWAABA QC, we are seeing firsthand the urgent need to provide outreach, education, information and accompaniment to new-comers immigrants, refugees, asylum-seekers, and low English proficiency and refer them to appropriate resources if needed.
