BEREA, OHIO (February 16, 2021) — Alexandra Minyard of Milan, Illinois (61264), was among 13 student leaders welcomed to the legislative and judicial branches of Baldwin Wallace University's student government during the Fall 2020 semester. Minyard, a graduate of Rockridge High School majoring in psychology and theatre acting and directing, was appointed to the position of Student Senator.

BW's student government is made up of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government in addition to the class officers. It represents and serves as the voice of all full-time undergraduate students. Student government is one of over 100 student clubs and organizations available to students at Baldwin Wallace University.

Baldwin Wallace University, founded in 1845, was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender. An independent, coeducational university of 3,500 students, BW offers coursework in the liberal-arts tradition in more than 80 academic areas.
