Supported government transparency more than any other Republican; ranked 2 in most bills introduced and 3 in bills becoming law

WASHINGTON DC (January 31, 2019) — GovTrack, an independent organization that tracks federal legislation and information about Members of Congress, recently released its annual “Report Card,” a special year-end project that reports the legislative statistics of Members of Congress. US Sen Chuck Grassley of Iowa received high marks in a number of categories.

“Accountability, transparency, and bipartisanship are necessary for good government and a functional democracy,” Grassley said. “My number-one priority is to effectively represent the people of Iowa as their US senator, and these principles shape and guide my work on their behalf every day.”

Grassley’s GovTrack Report Card results can be viewed here, and excerpts can be found below.
