BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (November 4, 2019) — In conjunction with their 2019-2020 season, Emerson Stage members recently performed a production of Flora, The Red Menace from October 31-November 3, 2019 at Emerson College's Greene Theatre in Boston, MA.

Flora Meszaros is an optimistic, newly-graduated art student beginning her career as a fashion illustrator. She soon falls in love with Harry, a fellow artist. But when Harry turns out to be an idealistic communist, Flora is forced to come to terms with herself, and whether or not she's a true "red menace."

Anania Williams of Davenport, Iowa, participated in the production and was credited as: Actor.

Williams is currently majoring in Musical Theatre and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2022.

At Emerson Stage, students in the Department of Performing Arts apply skills learned in the classroom to fully produced performances. Here, the next generation of actors, designers, stage managers, technicians, administrators, and educators work alongside distinguished faculty, professional staff, and visiting artists to perfect their skills, build their résumés, and deepen their understanding of their craft and the role theater plays in enriching communities.
