ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 10, 2024) — Augustana College senior Delaney Walsh, a kinesiology major from Davenport, Iowa (52803), was nominated to submit a “More Than I Imagined” profile by Dr Shaun Edmonds, assistant professor of kinesiology.

Annually, faculty nominate Augustana's seniors who have achieved remarkable academic or personal growth to appear in the college's “More Than I Imagined” series. Read Walsh's profile at More Than I Imagined.

Dr Edmonds said that he is looking forward to how Walsh will change the world for the better.

"In today's globalized society, emergent leaders will need to embrace the discomfort and uncertainty of the contemporary moment," said Dr Edmonds. "Delaney has proven time and again that she is capable of pushing through challenging moments to do the extraordinary."

After graduation, Walsh will attend St Ambrose University to earn a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology.
