ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 26, 2024) — Augustana College senior Gage Humphreys, a business administration - finance; accounting major from Coal Valley, Illinois (61240), was nominated to submit a “More Than I Imagined” profile by Olivia Melton, associate professor of accounting.

Annually, faculty nominate Augustana's seniors who have achieved remarkable academic or personal growth to appear in the college's 'More Than I Imagined' series. Read Humphreys' profile at More Than I Imagined.

Melton said it has been a joy to have Humphreys as a student during his time at Augustana.

"He has shown determination and commitment to his education," she said. "He went the extra step to expand his classroom learning through participation in an internship and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. He will be an asset to Deloitte when he starts in public accounting!"

After graduation, Humphreys will work as a full-time tax consultant at Deloitte in Davenport, Iowa.
