AUTHOR MELANIE LYNNE HAUSER AT MOLINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

ImageOn Tuesday, July 17th at 6:30 PM, author Melanie Lynne Hauser will be at the Moline Public Library to discuss her books Confessions of Super Mom and Super Mom Saves the World.    She will discuss becoming a writer later in life, the trials and tribulations of getting published, and her decision to write about a mom turned super hero. Confessions of Super Mom and Super Mom Saves the World follow Birdie Lee, a single mom to two teenagers.  When an unusual cleaning accident endows her with super powers, Birdie begins a life of crime (and grime) fighting.  Filled with humor and wit, Ms. Hauser's books have been praised by Booklist as a "fun twist on the superhero tale...packaged with a socially responsible message."

Copies of Ms. Hauser's books will be for sale at the event; the author will be happy to sign books after her presentation.  More information about the author can be found at www.melanielynnehauser.com.
