Backyard Birds/Wapsi River Environmental Education Center

DIXON, IOWA (February 6, 2026) — On Saturday, February 14, 9:30AM, there will be a Backyard Birds program held at the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center in Dixon, Iowa.

Join Naturalist Becky to learn how to identify and attract backyard birds! Plus learn about the global citizen science program, the Great Backyard Bird Count.

We will go for a short bird hike and then make take-home pinecone bird feeders to hang in your own backyard.

Bird watchers of all ages can participate in this free program. Online registration is required.
