Dracula
 
October 20, 2017 * 8:00 October 21, 2017 * 8:00 Scottish Rite Cathedral 1800 7th Avenue * Moline, IL Back by popular demand, Ballet Quad Cities will open the 2017/18 season with the crowd favorite Dracula.  Based on Bram Stoker's Gothic horror story, Dracula features enthralling choreography by Deanna Carter, exhilarating music, and plenty of spine-tingling excitement.  Stock up on garlic and join us for a performance full of seductive vampires, frightening mental patients, and the king of the undead himself, Count Dracula! Join Dracula and his brides at his castle on October 21st  for a deathly delicious dinner to raise funds for Ballet Quad Cities' educational programs!   The evening will include spooktacular cocktails, live music, a hauntingly fantastic silent auction, plus Halloween fun!  Cocktail hour begins at 5 pm, followed by dinner and the performance.   Tickets will go on sale soon! Festive Halloween fare surrounds each performance: dinner, desserts, area artists' exhibits, and an afterglow.    The Nutcracker

Adler Theatre * Davenport, IA This well-known Holiday Classic choreographed by Artistic Director Courtney Lyon comes to life in Ballet Quad Cities' own enchanting production. Lavish costumes and magnificent scenery blend with beautiful choreography to create the most delightful fantasy ever. With live music provided by Orchestra Iowa this is one holiday production that you won't want to miss!  Join the dancers and musicians for an afterglow at Hotel Blackhawk after the 8:00 performance. Adler Theatre * Davenport, IA Tumble down the rabbit hole with Ballet Quad Cities in a fun-filled fantasy adventure!  This world premiere, full-scale production features Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and many more as the Mad Hatters of music, Orchestra Iowa bring to life Tchaikovsky's colorful score.  Join us on a wild trip to Wonderland! Scottish Rite Cathedral 1800 7th Avenue * Moline, IL Defining Dance: Distinctly Ballet Quad Cities a performance of mixed repertory This show shimmers with charm and pizazz.  Live music, great lighting and emerging choreographers all add up to one fun evening of dance that has become "Distantly Ballet Quad Cities." For many patrons this is their favorite performance of the season.  Dessert bar with beverages at intermission both nights and an afterglow at The Planning Center on the 21st add to the festivities.
