DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 15, 2019) — Scott County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Roxanna Moritz announced today her office has ballots available for absentee/early voting in the March 5, 2019 special election to fill the vacancy on the Bettendorf city council for the Third Ward seat. Voters can request that ballots be mailed to them or they can vote in-person at the Auditor’s Office.

The deadline for requesting a ballot by mail is Friday, February 22, 2019 at 5:00PM.

In-person voting will be at the Auditor’s Office, 600 West 4th Street, 5th Floor, Davenport, Iowa. Regular office hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

The deadline for in-person early voting is Monday, March 4, 2019 and the Auditor’s Office will be open until 5:00PM that day.

Also, the deadline for voter pre-registration is February 22, 2019 at 5:00PM. Voters who register after this date and who also wish to vote in the special election will need to follow election day registation procedures at their polling place.
