BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 2, 2025) — Bettendorf Community School District will hold a groundbreaking to celebrate the Middle School New Classroom Wing on Wednesday, October 29, 1:30PM. The groundbreaking will take place at 2030 Middle Rd, Spruce Hills side of building, back of school nearest to Cumberland Square. Park in the 18th Street lot and walk around to Spruce Hills side of building or in Cumberland Square near Spruce Hills and walk across the street.

Groundbreaking for new school wing adding twelve new classrooms and the kick off of a five-year/five-phase renovation of Bettendorf Middle Schools estimated at $33.7M. In addition to the new classroom wing the project will enhance learning spaces and replace the 1962 and 1964 sections in the center of the building.
