ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 2, 2023) — The Quad City Botanical Center invites guests to Pay What You Want to visit Winter Nights Winter Lights Powered by MidAmerican Energy Company, January 5-7, 2023, sponsored by The Family Credit Union.

Guests will pay any admission price to experience the lighted exhibit. We know this time of year can put a strain on both time and financial resources. By extending exhibit dates and giving guests the chance to name their price of admission, we hope to allow every community member a chance to experience the garden’s one-of-a-kind light display.

Pay What You Want admission, sponsored by The Family Credit Union, is offered as walk-up only, no advanced tickets required. Standard light exhibit admission is $10 for adults 16 and older, $6 for youth ages 2-15, and toddlers under age two receive free admission; members receive $2 off admission. The public is welcome to pay any admission price Thursday, January 5, through Saturday, January 7, 5-8PM.

The outdoor gardens will be in winter bloom with over 160,000 glowing lights, showcasing our largest light-display yet. Explore the Sun Garden, Children’s Garden, lawns, pond, and pocket gardens of our outdoor-light exhibit as you experience our largest event of the year.

Bundle up, stroll the gardens at night, and warm up in the tropical Sun Garden, featuring a fourteen-foot waterfall. Pick up a winter themed scavenger hunt and visit the craft room for free crafts to make and take. Visit the free hot cocoa station in the lobby each night, 5:30-7:30PM, sponsored by The Family Credit Union.
