Des Moines, IA- Today, State Senator Nate Boulton’s campaign for governor released their first television ad, titled “Voice,” highlighting Sen. Boulton’s record of fighting for Iowa workers. The 30 second ad begins by featuring clips from the 2017 session where Boulton debated Republicans for 26 hours straight over the changes to collective bargaining, and ends with clips from the campaign trail.

In the first nine months of his campaign, Boulton visited all 99 Iowa counties, attracting large, enthusiastic crowds at every stop, and over 17,000 Iowans committed to “run with Nate” through online and organizing activities. At the Iowa Democrats’ Fall Gala, Boulton arrived with over 1,000 Iowans, making up a third of the crowd, constituting the biggest non-presidential following in years. Boulton’s campaign has earned the endorsements of the Asian and Latino Coalition, over 30 labor unions representing over 100,000 Iowans, and 23 legislative endorsements, making up over a third of the Democratic delegation at the statehouse.

“Voice” will air in the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids markets, reinforcing the ongoing, aggressive digital advertising and earned media efforts utilized by the campaign throughout the state. After having traveled the state for nine months, Boulton has returned to the State Senate for the 2018 legislative session to continue his fight for working Iowans and continuing to stand up to Governor Reynolds and the Republicans. The energy from the campaign trail continues to follow him back to the statehouse as Iowans prepare to fight for their rights once again.
