DES MOINES, IOWA (June 4, 2021) — Saturday, June 5 marks the first Iowa Pint Day, a release day of a collectable beer glass supporting Iowa breweries. Only 1,000 of these collectible pint glasses were made and are spread out across the state at participating Iowa breweries.

This spring’s glass, and future Iowa Pint Day releases, feature the original work of an Iowa tattoo artist. The spring 2021 Pint Day artist is central Iowa’s Arick Reese of Arick Reese Art & Tattoos. One lucky Instagram tagger will win the ink — a tattoo of the unique image from the beer glass, and two tickets to the Iowa Craft Brew Festival (August 7, Des Moines, Iowa).

To enter to win the tattoo and tickets, participants may tag a photo with one of the glasses on Instagram #inkmeIBG21 . To see entries, all can visit @iowabrewersguild on Instagram. The deadline to enter is 11:59PM on June 11; the winner will be announced on June 12 on the Iowa Brewers Guild website, Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram.

Participating breweries include but are not limited to: 515 Brewing Company, Toppling Goliath Brewing Co, West Hill Company, Confluence Brewing Company, Peace Tree Knoxville Taproom, Peace Tree Des Moines Branch, BIT Brewery, Big Rack Brew Haus, West O Beer, Iowa Brewing Company, Keg Creek Brewing Company, Fenceline Beer Lab, Mistress Brewing Co, Hot Air Brewing, Jackson Street Brewing, and Allerton Brewing Company.
