MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 11, 2026) — Moline Regional Community Foundation is excited to welcome Brian Laufenberg to its Board of Directors, where he brings more than forty years of financial services experience and a commitment to exceptional professional relationships and community service.
“Brian provides a degree of leadership expertise and personal experiences which will help guide the foundation’s philanthropic work throughout our community,” Paul Plagenz, President and CEO, said.
Beginning as a teller at a small community bank, Brian has built a well-rounded career helping people achieve their financial goals. Currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union (IHMVCU), Brian has led the organization through significant membership and asset growth since 2016.
A lifelong resident of the Quad Cities, Brian and his wife Angie have raised three children. He has served on numerous Boards, including the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley, Western Illinois University — Quad Cities, and Make-a-Wish Illinois.
“I am honored to serve on the Moline Regional Community Foundation Board focusing on the needs of our community and assisting to align the resources to make lasting impacts, improve lives and strengthen our community through philanthropy” stated Brian Laufenberg.
