MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 1, 2024) — For sixteen years, Midwest Hope and Healing offered support and comfort to more than 3,800 breast cancer patients through its signature healing baskets. Generous donors made this possible. Each newly diagnosed patient was given a Healing Basket from Midwest Hope and Healing.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 7, 2023) — The Moline Regional Community Foundation Board approved $197,000 in grant funding for 36 area non-profit organizations. Applications were accepted for capital and program expenses.

An award ceremony will be held Wednesday, November 8, 8-8:45AM, at the Butterworth Center, 1105 8th Street, Moline. Grant recipients include the following:

Through the generosity of donors, Midwest Hope and Healing established a grant-making endowment fund at The Moline Foundation to continue their legacy of caring for those newly diagnosed with breast cancer.

COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (May 16, 2022) — The Niabi Zoo is pleased and excited to announce having received a grant for $160,000 from the Roy J Carver charitable trust. The grant will help fund our new Painted dog exhibit, an important component in our Niabi Zoo Masterplan. “So many wonderful and exciting additions have been made, and are underway at the zoo,” said Director Lee Jackson.
