Rock Island, IL: Just in time for Shakespeare's upcoming birthday, the great Bard of Avon gets the improv treatment at the Rock Island Public Library on Thursday, April 20.

Shakespeared, which consists of Shakespearean improvisational comedy from Guys in Ties of Comedy Sportz, Rock Island, will be presented at 6:00 pm in the Rock Island Main Library Community Room, 401 19th Street. The rollicking improvisational romp in the style of Shakespeare is provided at no charge.

Shakespeare lived from approximately April 23, 1564 to April 23,1616. The English poet playwright and actor is widely regarded as a greatest writer in the English language, and is often referred to as the Bard of Avon.
