Davenport, IA – Share your love of learning at our 1st Annual CAMP CASI July 17-21 from 1:00-4:30pm! You will experience quality time with your grandchild or great grandchild and enjoy a weeklong ½ day Summer Camp and activities. CAMP CASI is designed for children ages 6 to 12 accompanied by their grandparent(s).
Camp activities will be held at CASI. Offerings include: fun arts and crafts, bugs & butterflies, movies, board games, genealogy family interviews, book recording, plays, sports and rock n roll bingo in addition to a trip to the miniature golf course and zoo! You will have plenty to do while you enjoy each other's company and create special projects and memories to bring home from your time spent at camp. Get ready for some activities and enjoy the fun and relationship-building time at CAMP CASI.
Cost is $100 for CASI Members and their grandchild and $150 for Non-CASI Members (Save $20 by purchasing a CASI Membership for $30!) – Additional grandparent is $10 and additional grandchildren are $30. Registration fee includes tshirt, activities tote and camp activity materials.

CASI - The Center For Active Seniors, Inc., established in 1973, serves the needs of older adults by providing a variety of events and daily activities keeping older Quad Citians socially, mentally and physically engaged. As 10,000 baby boomers turn age 65 every day, “senior citizen” is being redefined as is the senior lifestyle. CASI’s multi -pronged approach to helping seniors age successfully includes health and wellness initiatives, social engagement opportunities, lifelong learning and volunteer opportunities to keep the older adult active and involved with our Quad Cities community.

Senior Advocacy programs at CASI help older adults, their families, and caregivers with needs assessment helping partner them with other area agencies and programs keeping them in their own home for as long as is safely possible.

CASI’s Jane’s Place, the only adult day center in Eastern Iowa, provides a comfortable, homelike atmosphere for adults who need supervised care during the day due to stroke recovery, Alzheimer’s and dementia. Jane’s Place provides just the right amount of personal care allowing maximum independence while at Jane’s Place Day Service Center. Open Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4:30pm, Jane’s Place is located on the south-side of CASI, 1035 West Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA 52806.
