The Institute for Cultural and Healing Traditions, Ltd. Independent Scholars' Evenings in partnership with Celtic Heritage Trail of the Quad Cities presents A Glimpse of Celtic Culture every Thursday evening throughout the month of March. On March 6, 2008 a presentation on Cornwall by Gwen Foulkes of Rock Island, IL. Gwen will provide a brief foray into the life, lore, and history of Cornwall, a neglected nation. Fire in The Belly will kick off the presentation with Celtic fiddle tunes and songs. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. This event is open to the public, free of charge and takes place at The Moline Commercial Club at 513-16th Street, Moline, IL.
