DeKALB, ILLINOIS (January 30, 2023) — Northern Illinois University announces its Fall 2022 Academic Excellence List students. Equivalent to the Dean's List, the Academic Excellence List is for students who have not declared a major. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

The Academic Excellence List, released by NIU's Academic Advising Center, includes the following students from the local area. Students are listed by hometown.
