When it comes to curing mid-winter blahs, there is no better place than historic downtown Cedar Falls.  And, no one does it better than you and your girlfriends.     Cedar Falls Community Main Street invites you to a weekend of shopping, dining, entertainment and relaxation Friday, Saturday and Sunday February 27, 28 and March 1.

Plan your escape around this fantastic weekend full of activities during "It`s a Girl Thing"! Come for the weekend or just a day!   Take advantage of great values as you stroll through our shops, discover the finest of dining experiences, and enjoy entertainment offered all weekend long throughout the district. A unique variety of classes, a wine tasting seminar and more are available for registered participants!

On Saturday evening you`ll be treated to a movie, "The Devil Wear`s Prada", at the historic Oster Regent Theatre and on Sunday morning you can experience an "exclusive Bloody Mary" bar offered in one of our fine establishments.

Pre-registration fee is $20 per "girl".  The first 150 pre-registered guests will receive a goodie bag valued at over $100. Contact one of our local sponsoring hotels directly to secure your accommodations: Black Hawk Hotel, Wingate Inn and Holiday Inn.
