DES MOINES, IOWA (February 7, 2019) — Tomorrow, Cory Booker will kick off the first leg of the Iowa Rise Tour, his first trip to the First in the Nation caucus state as a presidential candidate. On February 8th and 9th, the Iowa Rise Tour will focus on introducing Iowans to Booker’s record of running towards challenges when others had given up, bringing people together to do big things, and building a more fair and just nation for everyone. About the Campaign

Americans’ faith is shaken. Right now, people fear that the lines that divide us are growing stronger than the ties that bind us. Cory Booker is running for president to change that. He believes that the answer to our common pain is to reignite our sense of common purpose to build a more fair and just nation for everyone. Together, we will ensure that our generation and those to come will achieve things others say can’t be done. Together, we will rise.
