DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 20, 2021) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE virtual workshop for anyone impacted by cancer on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 6:00-7:00PM via Zoom.

Do you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine that is being rolled out across the country? It is understandable to have questions and want answers. How does it work? What will happen once I get it? Will I have any side effects?

Join us via Zoom to get answers to your questions. Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is hosting a presentation and Q&A session about the COVID-19 vaccine presented by Bhanu Vakkalanka MD, Oncologist with UnityPoint Health Trinity Medical Oncology Clinic. Dr Vakkalanka will do a short presentation and then open up the rest of the hour for questions regarding the vaccine, its safety, and how it all impacts you.

Anyone impacted by cancer is invited to attend. Registration is required at http://www.gildasclubqc.org/calendar. For questions, please call Gilda’s Club at 563-326-7504 or e-mail kcraft@gildasclubqc.org.
