January 30, 2016 - Ken Croken today announced that he will seek the Democratic Party nomination for Scott County Supervisor in the upcoming November 8, 2018, election. In a new release, Croken said, "I believe that my skills and experience as an advocate, buisnes executive and community leader have prepared me well to help lead the County forward, becoming an even better place to live, work, and play."

Croken outlined his three areas of campaign focus: Accountability, Communication and Transparency. "In order to ensure a more responsie and more effective county government going forward, we need to "A-C-T." Specifically, we must become more accountable to the changing needs of the people of Scott County, communicate more clearly plans and progress to meet those needs, and fully engage people in the county operations through transparency."
