DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 20, 2019) — The Davenport Public Library announces the addition of two streaming services, Acorn TV and Pongalo.

Davenport library cardholders now have unlimited streaming access to British TV and films as well as Spanish-language telenovelas and movies.

Acorn TV streams world-class mysteries, dramas, and comedies from Britain and beyond. You can binge-watch a full slate of original and exclusive programming. Librarian Valerie Farrar says, “Acorn TV allows me to feed my inner Anglophile. I love to watch The Detectorists comb the English country-side with their metal detectors, searching for bits of history.”

Pongalo offers streaming access to Spanish-language films and TV series. Watch major US studio content that has been translated to Spanish. Pongalo offers thousands of shows, including original programming.

These digital resources can be enjoyed via the RBdigital app or the library’s website, www.davenportlibrary.com. Register for an RBdigital account, then check out a 7-day license to enjoy unlimited streaming content. Check out another license when you are ready to watch more.

With thousands of hours of commercial-free programming and new shows added weekly, there’s always something to watch!
