Professor and historian Art Pitz will be presenting his annual Middle East lecture series at the Davenport Public Library and Rock Island Public Library in September and October. Pitz will be discussing the complexities and hot-button topics relating to the Middle East, beginning with “ISIS Today: Dead or Alive?” at Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) on Wednesday, September 27 at 6:00 pm.
