DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 30, 2023) — On Thursday, April 6, 6PM, at Eastern, come celebrate National Poetry Month with the Davenport Public Library as we host local poet and St Ambrose professor Emily Kingery. Her work has been widely published in journals and has been selected for several honors and awards in poetry and prose. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Midwest Writing Center, a non-profit organization supporting writers in the Quad Cities community. Kingery is the author of the chapbook Invasives (Finishing Line Press), which was published in February 2023.
