Ads to highlight Rep Finkenauer’s work taking on big pharmaceutical companies to make health-care more affordable for hardworking families

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 17, 2019)

Following Rep Abby Finkenauer’s vote on May 16 to lower the costs of prescription drugs and health-care for hard-working Iowans, the DCCC launched a targeted advertising campaign on Facebook highlighting her work.

The bipartisan bill-package Rep Abby Finkenauer voted for included measures to lower the costs of prescription drugs by taking on predatory drug companies, help states lower the costs of coverage in their own marketplaces, and crack down on junk-plans that discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions and rip off hard-working families.

“The American people have spoken loud and clear that they want Congress to get to work to lower the costs of prescription drugs and health-care, and that’s just what Rep Finkenauer is doing,” said DCCC spokesperson Brooke Goren. “Since coming to Congress, Rep Finkenauer has been a tireless fighter on behalf of Iowans with pre-existing conditions and families facing skyrocketing prescription drug and medical bills, and the DCCC is proud to highlight her work.”
