The Dick Fallow Endowment for Social Justice has announced that its annual grant awards will go to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities (UUC) and the Teamsters Community Action Network (TeamCAN).

The UUC is a Sanctuary Congregation and will use the grant to hold events to educate the public on immigration policy and the Sanctuary Movement. TeamCAN will use the funds to establish a network that distributes locally grown organic food to people in Eastern Iowa who are food insecure. Both are honorable organizations, and we encourage others to match our grants by donating to these groups doing important work on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Please join us on Thursday, December 6th, 2018, when the Dick Fallow Endowment for Social Justice grants will be presented to the recipients at the Progressive Action for Common Good’s Holiday Party in the Community Room at Cobblestone Place, 1212 W. 3rd Street, Davenport, Iowa. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

About Dick Fallow Endowment for Social Justice:
