Doggie Dipp:

Treat your best friend to a cooling dip in a pool.

Our annual Davenport Park and Recreation Doggie Dip will be held on Friday, August 15 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the Fejervary Park Family Aquatic Center.  This year's event is being co-sponsored by Unified Financial Strategies, LLC.  UFS will be making a donation to the Scott County Humane Society based on the attendance at this fun event. All dogs are invited to have some fun in the swimming pool.  Dogs may jump into the deep end, play with their favorite toy or just lounge around in the shallow water.   New this year, we will be accepting non-cash donations for the Humane Society.  Donations could be blankets, laundry detergent, or animal toys.  A complete list of donations wanted can be found on the Humane Society's web site:  www.hssc.us.  To be admitted to this fun event, proof of rabies vaccination must be provided.  Dogs must be leashed when they are not swimming.  All dogs must be accompanied by a guardian that is 16 years of age or older.  Cost is $3.00 per dog. For further information, please contact the Davenport Park and Recreation Office at 326-7812.
