DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 22, 2019) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE workshop series about essential oils for anyone impacted by cancer. “Essential Oils 101” will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 11:30AM-12:30PM and “Essential Oils and Emotions Make n’ Take” will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 11:30AM–12:30 PM at Gilda’s Club (1234 East River Drive, Davenport, IA). Participants can attend one or both workshops.

Essential Oils 101 & Make ‘n’ Take

Thursday, May 2, 2019, 11:30AM–12:30PM

This introductory workshop will explore what essential oils are any how they work. Participants will make ‘n’ take their own rollerball to try and take home.

Essential Oils and Emotions and Make “n” Take

Thursday, June 6, 2019, 11:30AM–12:30PM

Oils are great mood enhancers! Many essential oils can affect areas of the brain that provide emotional support and uplift, comfort, focus, and a calm mind. Learn how they work with your limbic system to uplift your mood, promote self-awareness, and improve sleep. Participants will make ‘n’ take their own scent to lift spirits!

Anyone impacted by cancer is welcome to attend. Registration is required.
