DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 3, 2021) — Encourage the love of reading with story-times from August through September with the Davenport Library. Come to one or several — all are welcome!

Mindfulness and Movement Storytime

Mondays at 10AM | Fairmount (3000 N Fairmount St)

August and September

This brand-new outdoor story-time has everything to help you build a strong mind and body. Best for ages 2+. In case of inclement weather, story-time will be canceled.

Dance Party Storytime

Wednesdays at 10AM | Fairmount (3000 N Fairmount St)

August and September

Come outside and dance your wiggles out! All ages are welcome, but songs and stories will appeal to children ages 2 to 5 years. In case of inclement weather, story-time will be canceled.

Young Artist Storytime

Thursdays at 10AM | Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave)

August and September

Stories, music, dancing, books, and art projects! For children 2-5 with their parents/guardians. Registration required.

Storytime

Saturday, August 7 and September 4, 10AM | Main (321 Main St)

Join Miss Christie in the new Children’s Area for stories, songs, and play! Registration required.

Preschool Storytime

Tuesdays at 10AM | Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave)

September

An entertaining opportunity for preschoolers to come and hear stories, sing songs, and play with instruments to develop reading skills and be ready to start school. Registration required.
