New Camps & Classes
for the Fall
 
The Education Staff at Niabi Zoo has done it again! They have expanded the offerings of classes and camps for children this Fall. Animal Tales and Animal Adventures have returned but are joined by our newest class offering, Animal Expeditions. Also, for the first time ever, Niabi is offering Fall Break Zoo Camps during the first 2 weeks of October.
 
Zoo Classes
  • Animal Tales - Encouraging youth literacy, Animal Tales features a live animal character from a selected story book that is read to children ages 3-5 years old.
  • Animal Adventures allow children aged 6-9 years can experience the adaptations of many animals during physical activities designed to create an understanding of how animals move, what their habitat is like, and how they protect themselves.
  • Animal Expeditions allow participants aged 10-13 years to learn about the behavior of animals, the importance of enrichment, how zoo keepers take care of animals and how the zoo is working to save animals and habitats.
 
Each of the 3 will have 8 different classes offered during the series occurring every other Saturday from September 8 - December 15. Click the titles below to learn more and register for any of the dates or all of them!
  • 8 Pack Discount - If you book all 8 classes in a series, you will receive a 10% discount on each class and you only have to register one time! Hurry, the 8 Pack Discount is only available through September 7.

Zoo Camp - Fall Frenzy
 
With winter coming, animals go into a frenzy to stock up on food by hiding it or eating it to build a layer of fat as they prepare shelters to stay warm during the coming winter, prepare for hibernation or for migration. Join the frenzy to make preparations for this wild camp!  
 
Fall Frenzy Zoo Camp will be highly educational while still being tons of fun! Each of the 5 days of Camp will include interactive learning experiences, hands-on activities, special zoo tours, up-close animal encounters and will be distinctly different for each age group. 
 
  • Each participant receives a Zoo Camp shirt with each paid registration. 
  • Become a Zoo Member before registering and save money!
  • Register by September 7 and receive a 10% early bird discount!
