DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 15, 2020 Gilda’s Club is hosting a free series of virtual workshops for children, teens, and their families on Wednesdays at 6PM, July 8 through July 29, 2020.

Children, teens, and their families are invited to join us via Zoom and work together to create, build, and learn as a team. Families can participate in all four events or choose based on interests.

According to Kelly Craft, Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Program Manager, “This series is meant to help families impacted by cancer have fun, learn, and bond together. Parents and children can also make connections with other families in a situation like theirs.”

  • July 22: Kid-Friendly Recipe (supplies needed: pretzel rods, peanut butter and/or semi-sweet chocolate for melting, your choice of toppings: granola, chopped nuts, raisins, etc); and
  • July 29: Rock Painting (supplies needed: rock, acrylic paint, paintbrush).
