GENESEO, ILLINOIS (July 1, 2019) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE healthy living workshop for families impacted by cancer on Monday, July 15, 2019, 5:30-7PM, at Hammond Henry Hospital Conference Room 1AB (600 N College Ave, Geneseo, IL).

Families impacted by cancer are invited to try chair yoga and learn to make a healthy snack. Led by Kelly Craft, a certified chair yoga instructor, chair yoga takes traditional mat poses and adapts them to the chair.

Yoga also:

  • Builds strength and flexibility in safe ways
  • Stimulates your immune system and builds bone density
  • Detoxifies the body and cultivates a sense of well-being
  • Creates a sense of community
  • Empowers participants to take control and enhance their lives

Chair yoga is great for individuals who have never tried yoga and seasoned yogis alike!

This program is made possible by the Kiwanis Club of Geneseo.

RSVP Required. For more details and to register, please call Gilda’s Club at 563-326-7504, email gc@gildasclubqc.org or visit www.gildasclubqc.org/calendar.
