BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 16, 2019) — On Saturday, April 27, 6:30–10PM, the Family Museum will host “Night at the Museum,” an exclusive, one-night fundraising event for adults featuring food and drinks, composed and prepared by local chefs and businesses. Guests will embark on a scavenger hunt to explore everything that the Museum has to offer. Tickets are $50 each and are on sale at the Family Museum or online at www.FamilyMuseum.org/tickets. Guests must be 21 or older to enter. Presented by American Bank and Trust and Rakesh and Dhatri Alla Charitable Foundation.

Food and drinks will be provided by the following: Bettendorf Hy-Vee, Foundry Food + Tap, Bettendorf Culver’s, Rhythm City Casino Resort, Bettendorf Happy Joe’s, 5ive Cities Brewing, Crust Stone Oven Pizza, Palmer Grill, Cheesy Cow, Coffee Hound, The Tangled Wood, Blue Iguana, and Crawford Brew Works.

Entertainment for the evening includes a prize-filled duck pond, a live DJ, a museum-wide scavenger-hunt, painting in the Art Studio, sculpting in the Clay Studio, selfies with an Easter Island Head, roaming characters from the movie "Night at the Museum", a walking dinosaur, performers from QC Sol Fire, and a special presentation dance from City of Bettendorf Council Members and Department Heads. Awards will be given for the Best Dish and Best Drink of the Night.

Proceeds will be used for installation of a two-story, three-dimensional Luckey Climber. These one-of-a-kind climbers can be found in museums, malls, and theme-parks across the globe. The Family Museum will be the first in our region to have a unique and totally safe Luckey Climber.
