Free Educational Workshop for People Diagnosed with Cancer and Their Loved Ones

Davenport, IA (September 2018) – Gilda’s Club Quad Cities will host a free workshop entitled: Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Immunotherapy.  The program will explore how the immune system interacts with cancer, immunotherapy treatments that are currently available as well as treatments that are being developed, and tips to manage common side effects.  This free workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to7:30 p.m. at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities (1234 E. River Drive, Davenport).

“People living with cancer and their loved ones want to know about the most recent advances in cancer research so that they can identify their best treatment options,” said Kelly Hendershot, Program Director of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities. “By taking an active role in their treatment decisions, people with cancer can improve their quality of life.”
