MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 28, 2022) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities will host Frankly Speaking About Cancer: What Do I Tell the Kids? — a free workshop for people affected by cancer who are interested in learning about talking to their children about cancer diagnosis and treatment. Many parents try to protect their children by not sharing information about the situation. We don’t often realize that even if they are not told about cancer, children of all ages can feel the impact of an illness on a family. This workshop will help facilitate these difficult but important conversations.

This workshop will be presented on Wednesday, May 11, 6-7PM, at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Moline Clubhouse: 600 John Deere Road, Suite 101.

Frankly Speaking About Cancer: What Do I Tell the Kids? Streamlines crucial resources about discussing cancer diagnosis and treatment with children and teens.

This program will be held hybrid. Participants may attend in-person or virtually via Zoom. RSVP required.

To register, please call 563-326-7504 or visit: http://GCQC.gnosishosting.net/Events/Info/Frankly_Speaking_About_Cancer_What_Do_I_Tell_the_Kids-2179.
