GATHERING OF THE GREENRETURNS to the QUAD CITIES for 5th CONFERENCE

Hundreds of antique John Deere tractor enthusiasts from across the United States and Canada will travel to the Quad Cities in March to attend the “Gathering of the Green” conference.

March 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2008, are the dates for the 5TH  “Gathering” to be held in Moline, Illinois at the Holiday Inn Moline Airport.  Back by popular demand, the convention-style conference will offer admirers of John Deere antique two-cylinder tractors and implements an opportunity to enjoy workshops and the shop the vendor area.  For those interested, there will be evening speakers, a fun auction, and many, many more activities.

Once again, members of the four sponsoring two-cylinder tractor clubs located in central and northern Illinois and eastern Iowa have worked for many months to put together another outstanding conference that will interest Quad Cities area residents as well as John Deere two-cylinder tractor fans from across the nation.

Forty-two technical workshops and eleven drop-in sessions will be presented over three days – Thursday, Friday and Saturday - and 70+ vendors will be available at the Holiday Inn Moline Airport for you to find that special treasure you’ve been looking for.  Vendors are offering services; new, used, and reproduction parts; manuals; books; tires; signs; JD decals; art; clothing; and memorabilia.
