The 2021 Geneseo Music Fest will feature its classic attractions, such as the Music Fest Art and Craft Fair, Music Fest Queen Pageant, Summertime Cookouts at the City Park, and will feature live music acts from both Geneseo and the surrounding region. Food trucks will be set up at the City park during the event, offering selections ranging from barbeque to lemon shake-ups to classic carnival food fair. New attractions will be featured as well, such as the Presidential Memorabilia Display featuring Historian Dr Larry Cook, and an outdoor movie.

Live music can be enjoyed across Geneseo rather than only at the City Park in the evening. This change is being done to support local bars and restaurants who endured rough economic conditions during the COVID-19 mitigations in Illinois.

The Geneseo Music Fest is bookended by two popular family-friendly parades — the Kiwanis Doo Dah Parade on Friday evening and the annual Geneseo Music Fest Father’s Day Parade on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday, the Gen-Airpark will host its annual Father’s Day Fly-In Breakfast — a popular morning event for families in our area.

Be sure to also shop and dine in Geneseo, as our amazing stores and restaurants will be open on Music Fest weekend, allowing for an opportunity to beat the heat for a few minutes while finding the perfect Father’s Day gift. All events are free unless otherwise indicated.
