DAVENPORT, Iowa – July 17, 2017 – Genesis Post-Acute Care will be expanding health and wellness services at CASI beginning Aug. 1.

Genesis will be the exclusive provider of medical and wellness services to CASI.

Expanded services will include home medical equipment education and sales; a clinic staffed by supervised St. Ambrose University physician assistant students; and, a Genesis self-service information center.

Already available at CASI are blood pressure and vital sign checks; a Genesis foot clinic; and, Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) volunteers available to help explain Medicare options. These services will continue to be available.

“Genesis is committed to providing services to keep our older adults healthy and vibrant. This opportunity will allow Genesis to expand health services available at CASI and create a hub for senior health,’’ said Glen Roebuck, executive director, post-acute care. “At the same time, the expanded health and wellness services should help attract more seniors to other CASI services.

“CASI will benefit and so will seniors who use the facility for health and wellness needs. It’s already a wonderful destination with a variety of services for seniors and the Genesis presence will enhance the health of those users of CASI services.’’
