MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 7, 2022) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities, in partnership with The Greater Quad Cities Prostate Cancer Support Group, is scheduled to offer their second hybrid support group for April. A portion of each group will be a presentation with time to discuss afterward. This group is open to people with a current prostate-cancer diagnosis, survivors, significant others, spouses, caregivers, and care-partners. The April meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 6-8PM, and will continue to be held on the third Thursday of each month, 6-8PM, through November 2022.

For our 04/21 group, we will be joined by Jen Fecher, Director of Educational Services for Reclaiming Intimacy for a presentation about intimacy. Losing yourself and your “normal” sexual function are all too common for cancer patients and their partners. In this presentation, learn about:

  • How to reclaim your intimacy needs;
  • Common dysfunction issues; and
  • How to combat sexual dysfunction with holistic, at-home therapies, and therapeutic aids.

Empower yourself with information and take back your intimacy and sexuality!

This support group is being offered hybrid. Participants can register to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom. Registration is REQUIRED. In-person group will be held at the Moline Clubhouse at 600 John Deere Road, Suite 101, Moline, IL 61265.
