DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 17, 2020) Gilda’s Club is hosting a free virtual workshop titled “Cancer and Intimacy Workshop” on Tuesday, June 23, 6–7PM, via Zoom.

Erin Sullivan-Wagner with After Cancer will present on the intimacy struggles that couples (and those looking to be in relationships) face after a cancer diagnosis. Cancer patients, survivors and loved ones are encouraged to attend.

According to Sullivan-Wagner, “I am stronger since cancer, able to connect with others on a deeper level, and to recognize emotional intimacy as a key ingredient to happiness and successful relationships. As a cancer survivor, I am committed to spending the remainder of my life helping others redefine intimacy for themselves and in their relationships.”

If attendees have specifics they would like covered, or questions they would like answered during the workshop, please email them to kelly@gildasclubqc.org by Friday, June 19th. Your name will be kept confidential.

This workshop will also be broadcast via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/GildasClubQC.

Anyone impacted by cancer is welcome to attend. Registration is required. For more details and to register, please call Gilda’s Club at 563-484-0006, email kcraft@gildasclubqc.org or visit www.gildasclubqc.org/calendar.
