DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 25, 2021) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE virtual workshop for any children or families impacted by cancer on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 5-5:45PM.

If I were a tree, what tree would I be? What animals are your friends? What trees are your family members? Kids impacted by cancer and their loved ones are invited to join us to create a family tree collage!

Led by author and breast-cancer survivor, Sharon Frances (Chappell) this workshop will use found materials to reach your branches into the sky and roots into the ground.

This workshop will be held via Zoom.

Materials needed: construction paper, tissue paper, glue sticks, oil pastels.

Materials will be provided with a free pick-up if you RSVP by 12PM on April 9.

Anyone impacted by cancer is invited to attend. Registration is required at http://www.gildasclubqc.org/calendar. For questions, please call Gilda’s Club at 563-326-7504 or e-mail gc@gildasclubqc.org
