JOHNSTON, IOWA (February 20, 2020) — As Iowa girls battle for a ticket to the state basketball tournament, Iowa PBS is preparing to provide live coverage of the championship action, victories and heartache.

Iowa PBS's 2020 coverage of Iowa girls' high-school championships begins, as teams from across the state take to the court for the 2020 IGHSAU Girls State Basketball Championships. Coverage of each class title game will take place at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Each game will be broadcast live on statewide Iowa PBS and livestreamed on iowapbs.org and Facebook.

Along with unparalleled coverage of the championships, the broadcast will include segments featuring the Cascade High School and West Burlington High School basketball teams, as well as Montezuma High School player Shateah Wetering, West Burlington High School player Samantha Dzawo, and Dowling Catholic High School player Caitlin Clark.

Friday, March 6

5:30PM; Iowa PBS Sports Pregame Show

6PM; Class 5A

8PM; Class 3A

Saturday, March 7

2:30PM; Iowa PBS Sports Pregame Show

3PM; Class 4A
