DES MOINES, IOWA (July 16, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of David Nelmark as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 5C. Nelmark, of Urbandale, Iowa, currently practices law with Gislason and Hunter LLP in Des Moines, Iowa. He previously practiced with Belin McCormick, PC in Des Moines and served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Michael J Melloy on the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Nelmark received his undergraduate degrees from Drake University and his law degree from Stanford Law School.

Judicial Election District 5C includes Polk County.
