DES MOINES, IOWA (August 12, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Tamra Roberts as a district court judge in the Seventh Judicial District. 

Roberts, of Tipton, Iowa, currently practices law with the Beine and Roberts Law Firm in Tipton, Iowa and serves as Judicial Magistrate for Cedar County. She has previously served as Assistant Cedar County Attorney and an Assistant Attorney General for the Iowa Attorney General’s Office, representing the Child Support Recovery Unit of the Iowa Department of Human Services. Roberts received her undergraduate degree from Central College and her law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in St Paul, Minnesota.

The Seventh Judicial District includes Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, and Scott counties.
