DES MOINES, IOWA (June 10, 2021)  Governor Kim Reynolds has signed the following bills into law:

HF 857: A bill for an act establishing a butchery innovation and revitalization fund and program to be administered by the economic development authority, in consultation with the department of agriculture and land stewardship, and creating a task-force to explore the feasibility of establishing an artisanal butchery program at a community college or at an institution governed by the state board of regents.

SF 243: A bill for an act relating to public safety including the crimes of failure to assist, abuse of a corpse, and interference with official acts, and providing penalties.

SF 615: A bill for an act relating to state and local finances by making appropriations, providing for legal and regulatory responsibilities, providing for other properly-related matters, and including effective-date and retroactive-applicability provisions.

Gov Reynolds signed the following bill into law yesterday:

HF 234: A bill for an act establishing a lifetime trout-fishing license for certain older Iowans.
