(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds signed Senate File 455 into law on Thursday at Central High School in Davenport. SF 455 appropriates $14.1 million next school year to deliver greater equity in education spending and school bus transportation.

“Sen. Roby Smith worked tirelessly to pass this bill,” Gov. Reynolds said. “I thank him, along with the students, school board members and other advocates who worked on this bill, and the bill’s floor managers, Sen. Amy Sinclair and Rep. Walt Rogers. Investing in Iowa students is the most significant commitment we make together across our great state.”
